Before you buy

• Check that your tent's stove jack fits an 80 mm (3.1 in) chimney.
• Keep safe clearances between the stove, chimney and tent walls, and set it on stable, level ground.
• Check local rules for wood stoves and open fires.
• Cut firewood to 14 in or shorter.

Let the stove cool completely, empty the ash, and keep it dry between trips to prevent rust.
