A eucalyptus venik is a bundle of leafy branches used in the steam, a long-standing part of the banya tradition. Soak it so the leaves soften, then use it on the upper bench to move hot, fragrant air around you.

Eucalyptus leaves contain natural aromatic oils, so the room fills with a fresh scent as the venik warms.

Using a venik is a slow, social part of the sauna. After soaking, warm it briefly above the stones, then use gentle sweeping and pressing motions to move hot air over the body. Many people take turns on the upper bench and finish with a cool rinse. A eucalyptus venik also makes a memorable gift for anyone curious about the banya tradition.
