2-Person Old Fir Far Infrared Outdoor Sauna, Natural Wood

A two-person far infrared sauna in old fir, made to stand outdoors on a deck, patio or in the yard. Six far infrared heating panels warm the cabin, and a waterproof exterior helps it stand up to the weather.

It suits couples who want an outdoor sauna without the stove, stones and chimney of a wood-burning build.

Dimensions and electrical requirements are not listed on this page, so check the photos and confirm them before ordering.

Features

• Seats 2 people
• Six far infrared heating panels
• Waterproof exterior for outdoor use
• Old fir construction in a natural wood finish

Far infrared panels warm you with radiant heat instead of heating the air to very high temperatures, so the cabin runs cooler than a traditional sauna while still feeling deeply warm. There is no water, stones or steam to manage, sessions start with little warm-up, and the dry heat suits people who find a hot Finnish sauna too intense. If you are still deciding between heat types, our guide to infrared vs traditional saunas walks through the differences. Fir is a sturdy softwood with a straight grain that suits outdoor cabins.

Placing a sauna outdoors keeps it out of the house and makes it easy to step out for fresh air between sessions. Choose a spot with good drainage, some shelter from wind and a short, safe run to power, and think about the view from the bench.

Before you buy

• Prepare a flat, level, well-drained base such as a concrete pad or solid deck.
• Confirm the voltage and circuit before ordering, and use outdoor-rated electrical connections.
• Confirm the footprint against your site and plan clear delivery access.
• Plan on two people for assembly.

Care

Check the exterior and roof each season and keep the base clear of leaves and standing water.
