Relax portable far infrared saunas
Relax makes portable far infrared saunas. Instead of a wooden cabin, you sit or lie inside a reflective tent while far infrared heaters warm you. When you finish, the sauna packs away. That makes a Relax sauna an option for apartments, rentals and spare rooms where a full cabin will not fit.
| Model | Format | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Silver Elite | Portable sit-in sauna | $1,800 |
| Flex Lie Down | Portable lie-down sauna | $1,800 |
| Black Pro | Portable sit-in sauna, reinforced tent | $2,400 |
Silver Elite vs Black Pro
Relax says the Silver Elite and Black Pro use the same far infrared heating elements, a dual FIR conductor system, with the same infrared output. The difference is the tent. Relax describes the Black Pro as built for professional or high-frequency use, with a thicker, reinforced tent and a silver-lined interior. It says the Black Pro warms up faster. The Silver Elite is aimed at personal and family use.
The Relax product page lists the Black Pro at 1,400 W, for 120V or 220V, measuring 32 in by 33 in by 46 in. It lists the contents as the reflective tent, far infrared radiator set, two foot pads, two sets of support poles, a folding chair, a controller and holder, and a carry bag.
Flex Lie Down
The Flex Lie Down is the reclining model. Relax describes it as a flexible design you use lying back, set on a flat, dry surface. Let it cool fully before you fold it away.
Portable or cabin?
A portable infrared sauna costs less than most cabins and takes far less floor space. A cabin gives you a bench, room to move and, often, room for two.
