Choosing a sauna tent
A wood-fired sauna tent gives you real stove heat and steam with no wiring and no building. You need a flat spot, a stove, stones and dry firewood. This collection has 23 wood-fired tent listings in four sizes, plus 6 small infrared sauna tents for indoor use.

| Mini Cube | 2 | 5 x 5 x 5 ft | $599 | $1,353 to $2,157 |
| Nova 4 | 4 | See listing | $799 | $1,678 to $5,257 |
| Nova 6 | 6 | 7.5 x 9 ft, about 48 lb | $999 | $1,913 to $6,336 |

Tent only or package?
A tent-only listing needs a stove from wood burning sauna stoves. You will also want a rock basket and sauna stones. The Starter, Pro, Premium and Elite packages bundle a stove, stones and extras at rising prices. The stove listings give a rough fit: the mini stove suits the Mini Cube and may be underpowered for larger tents, and the XL stove is suggested for the Nova 6 or Dome in cold areas. The Dome has two chimney ports, so you can run two stoves.
Heat-up and temperature
The listings say the Mini Cube reaches 200°F or more in 15 to 20 minutes and the Nova tents in about 30 minutes. The Dome listing says it holds heat for large groups in outside temperatures down to -30°F. Actual results depend on wind, wood and stove size.
Safety and setup
A wood stove needs a chimney and the safety clearances on the stove's datasheet. Use dry hardwood, and never burn treated, painted or glued wood. Some areas restrict wood-burning heaters, so check local rules. A fireproof mat under the stove protects the ground from embers.
Infrared sauna tents
The six portable far-infrared sauna tents ($270 to $281) are a different product. They are personal fabric enclosures with 3 or 5 carbon heaters, a heated foot pad and a 140°F top setting, and they plug in at home. For more like these, see portable saunas.
Accessories
Tent covers, rain covers and replacement poles are in portable saunas and sauna accessories. If you want a permanent setup, compare outdoor saunas.
